The FutureWEDGE™ 3600 electric vehicle barrier provides K12/M50 (15,000 lbs. @ 50 mph) protection with an armed height of 36 inches. It can be installed in as little as 18 inch shallow foundation. The 3600 series has a flush mounted design with no protruding buttresses above grade. The flush mount design eliminates problems with snowplows and street sweepers. Single entrances up to 20 feet in width can be secured with the 3600 model. SecureUSA is capable of custom designing the control systems for the 3600 to be integrated with more sophisticated electronic security products. Any electrical current can be used to power our barriers. The 3600 FutureWEDGE™ features a servo actuator design that improves barrier operating efficiency. Added spring assist further reduces the electrical power required to operate the barrier, increases duty cycles and yet operates at the speed equal to hydraulic equipment. The FutureWEDGE™ all electric green solution eliminates the need for a hydraulic power unit or air compressor. This means that the associated hoses, filters, and valves, which are common causes of barrier failure, are gone!
